Stanley Elmo Everett, 77, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born on May 4, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana, the son of the late Stanley R. Everett and Pauline Lee Culler. Elmo attended Scottsburg High School. He was married on April 22, 1962 Della (Barrett) Everett, who passed away on Aug. 17, 2002. Elmo was a retired employee of Cummins Engine Company in Columbus and Seymour Indiana, enjoyed fishing and helping his late wife upholster automobiles. Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Abbott of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, David Everett and wife Karen of Scottsburg, Indiana; five grandchildren, Jonathan Abbott and wife Amanda, Michael Abbott, Benjamin Everett and wife Chynelle, Jared and Ryan Everett. Private graveside services were held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at the Everitt Family Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Sills officiating.
