Steve was very active in his community being a leader in the Scott County 4-H, member of the Ducks Unlimited, and Derby City Fly Fishers. He loved Key West and a color filled sunset almost as much as he loved his sons and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Susan, his survivors include two sons, Sam (Alicia) Knowles of Madison, Indiana and Jamie (Lannea) Knowles of Scottsburg, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Jayla (Derek) Nance and Lia Knowles.
