With shattered hearts and eternal love, we announce the passing of our sweet girl, Temperance Whitaker—a light in our lives and the soul of our home. Temperance was born on April 14, 2014—a registered American Kennel Club white and fawn Chihuahua, registration number TS21777302. She was the beloved daughter of Rusty Bear III and Princess Dilees, and she became the beautiful, missing piece in our lives on August 6, 2014.

From the moment she entered our home, she brought warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. She was not just a dog—Temperance was our best friend, our comfort, our joy, and our daughter in every way that mattered. She joined her K9 siblings, Isabella Whitaker (13) and Destiny Whitaker (12), completing our furry family.

Temperance had a gentle soul and a joyful spirit. She loved nothing more than playing fetch with Mommy using her favorite squeaky toy, being cradled in our arms like a baby for belly rubs, getting treats, and going on car rides—her favorite "bye-bye" adventures. She loved to lay her face next to yours for you to give her endless kisses. Every morning, she faithfully woke up with Mommy before work, a routine that will now echo in memory and heart.

She had a way of knowing when someone was hurting because she had the soul of a healer. Whenever sadness filled the room, Temperance would come close, rest her head beside yours, and gently lick the tears from your cheeks. She seemed to know exactly what we needed, offering comfort that words could never express. Her empathy was astounding—at times, you would swear she understood everything we said—because she did.

Temperance passed away on June 11, 2025, at 12:44 a.m., leaving behind a home forever changed by her absence. Our grief is deep because our love for her is endless. Temperance was deeply loved every single day of her life, and she will continue to be loved every day beyond it.

She will forever be remembered for her kind eyes, her tender heart, her playful spirit, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on in every quiet morning, every car ride, and every corner of our hearts. She brought so much light into our lives and leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, compassion, and irreplaceable love.

Temperance, thank you for being ours. We will carry your paw prints in our hearts forever.
