Teresa "Terri" L. Hayes, 64, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born on June 13, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Roy Alford and Wanda Huff.  Terri was married on Dec. 2, 1977 to Freddie Hayes, who preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 2013.  She was a former hospitality director for the old Best Western Hotel and Restaurant in Scottsburg, Indiana.  Terri loved the outdoors, enjoyed bird watching, listening to good music, and riding motorcycles with her husband.  Survivors include two sons, Jeff Hayes of Seattle, Washington and Jacob Hayes of Scottsburg, Indiana; her mother, Wanda Huff of Glendale, Kentucky; a sister, Marty Lainhart of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Troy Alford of Glendale, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Brianna and Britley Hayes, and five half siblings.  In keeping with Terri's wishes, cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Little York Cemetery with Bro.
