IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Teresa J.
Napier
June 30, 1962 – December 18, 2023
Teresa was known for her big heart. She made an impression on every single person she met. She was silly and always smiling. She always found the positive in any situation. Teresa was such a big light in this world and nothing, not even death, can dim that light. It lives on in every person she's ever met.
Teresa loved moongazing and being surrounded in nature. Teresa and her sister spent countless days on the beach, creating unforgettable memories together. Her daughter and her loved to go camping at a local park and paddleboard all day, lay in the sun, and sit by the fire at night. Her daughter was her biggest pride and joy, and they had an inseparable bond.
She also loved being with her significant other, Philip. You could catch them riding his motorcycle in the evenings, or snuggled up by the fire. She loved living a slow, beautiful life with him.
Teresa's granddaughters were her heart and joy. Time spent at Lolly's house was very special for her girls, and she taught them the joys of nature, slowing down and loving unconditionally.
The last three years, she took so much pride in working at the cheese shop, Cultured. From keeping the plants alive and well, to making sure everything was spotless – she loved being there and loved getting to spend time with her daughter in-law, Jessica, in the process.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Teresa are her father Robert Tatlock, her step mom Jean Tatlock, her mother Thelma Barnes, her sister Patricia Tatlock, her life long best friend Charlotte Bennett and her beloved dog, Baby.
Loved ones that will miss Teresa until they meet again are her daughter and daughter in-law Rene and Jessica Mattingly; her granddaughters Maria and Rosa Mattingly; her sister Michelle Wilkes, her brother and sister in law Sky and Billy Barnes; her brother Michael Hoskins; her nieces Savannah Wilkes and Trinity Wilkes, her nephew Sam Wilkes; her significant other Philip Shepherd; and her sweet dog, Pepe.
