Terry Alan Alexander

Terry Alan Alexander, 65, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on April 1, 2026 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 26, 1960, in Seymour, Indiana to the late Chester and Cleta (Jewell) Alexander. Terry led a life defined by his unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and career. He graduated from Austin High School in 1978 and went on to devote over 40 years of exemplary service to JayC Foods, where he worked as a department management. On January 16, 1987 Terry married his loving wife Carol, and she survives. A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, he treasured every moment spent with his beloved family. An active member of the Scottsburg Moose Lodge #2324 and the Westwood Golf Course, Terry had a passion for golf and enjoyed spending time with friends on the green. Terry is preceded in death by parents; and granddaughter, Aliyah Gabrielle Alexander-Petty. He is survived by his wife, Carol Alexander; three children, Tyler Alexander, Mckenzie Alexander-Petty (Lucas), and Jeremy Alexander; three brothers, Kenneth Gale (Charlene) Alexander, David Alexander, and Timothy "Tim" Alexander; two sisters, Sherry (Roger) Hawkins and Robin (Roger) Chasteen; and his three grandchildren, Elijah Alexander, Macy Petty, and Maverick Petty. The funeral service to be held at Grace Covenant Church of God in Austin, Indiana on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 1:00pm. Viewing will take place at the church on Monday the service at the church from 11:00am till 1:00pm. Burial will be at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana following the funeral service.
