Terry D. Franklin, 77, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born on June 22, 1943 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late David M. Franklin and Eva Lucille (Cathcart) Franklin. Terry was a retired truck and wrecker driver for the old Wilcox Wrecker Service in Salem, Indiana and the old Richey and Stewart Trucking Co. in Scottsburg, Indiana. He enjoyed panning for Gold, riding motorcycles and racing cars as well as hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Jerry Franklin. Survivors include his wife, Neva Jean (Barger) Franklin, of Scottsburg, Indiana two daughters, Terri Lynn Franklin (Mike) of Little York, Indiana and Laura Lucille (Darren) Mull of Little York, Indiana; a brother, Dennis Franklin of Scottsburg, Indiana. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Jerrica ,Terry , Alex, Ashley, Travis and Tanner and 9 great-grandchildren, Riley, Ava, Anna, Leala, Emma, Meagan, Jenna, Justice and Zanden. Many other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with visitation from 12-2 p.m. with Rev. Billy Joe Deaton officiating.
