Terry Gene Gregory, 61, a devoted husband, father, grandpa ("paw"), brother, and friend, of Austin, Indiana previously of Hardinsburg, Indiana passed away on December 29, 2024. He was born on September 6, 1963, in Springfield, Tennessee, to the late Gene Gregory and Gladys (Wright) Gregory. A proud union man, he was an active member of the Laborers Union Local #576. He was a dedicated superintendent at Walsh Construction, where he proudly contributed for the last eleven years and spent over twenty years at Gohman Construction in Clarksville prior to that. Terry was not just a committed worker; he was a man of deep passions. He found joy in fishing and golfing. He was a sports enthusiast and could always be found cheering for his favorite teams. Yet above all, Terry's greatest pride and joy came from his family. He enjoyed traveling and working as a pair with the love of his life, his wife, Tonya. He was a proud grandfather, and his grandchildren adored him deeply. He loved taking care of others and was a phone call away for anyone that needed him. Terry is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tony "Cheesy" Gregory; and his lap dog, Dixie. In addition to his loving wife of twenty years, Tonya, Terry is survived by three daughters, Cheyenne (Chris) Stone, Chantel (Jared) Seale, and Alishia Gregory; one son, Jeremy Gregory; two brothers, Jeff (Danielle) Gregory and Mike (Denise) Gregory; one sister, Brenda (Jackie) Farley; one foster sister, Mary (Steve) Walton; seven grandchildren, Easton, Brooks, Juna, Judson, Moxen, Huck, and Carlene. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 2:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Zoah Christian Church Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
