Thomas Lynn "Tommy" Dotson, 47, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at his residence. He was born on July 5, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois. Tommy graduated from the Henry County High School in Paris, Tennessee in the Class of 1991. He was a machine operator for Lannett Pharmaceutical Company in Seymour, Indiana, where he worked for the last 3 years and also retired from Walmart Distribution in Seymour after 25 years. Tommy loved coaching his children's sports teams while they were in school, enjoyed hunting and liked spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole June Dotson and his grandparents, William and Rosalie Dotson. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Tammy A. (Carter) Dotson; two daughters, Courtney Dotson of Madison, Indiana and Hailey Dotson of Lexington, Indiana; a son, Tyler Dotson of Lexington, Indiana; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home with Greg Shuler officiating. Visitation: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sunday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive mandate.
