Timothy D. Cruz, 66, of Deputy, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born on May 18, 1955 in Saipan, Marianas Island, the son of the late Henry and Faye (Davenport) Cruz. On May 12, 1984 he married Beverly (Spencer) Cruz, who survives. He was a long time member of Alpha Baptist Church in Deputy, Indiana. Timothy was an avid motorcycle rider, he loved his Honda Valkyrie. He retired from American Axle in North Vernon, Indiana, where he worked as a maintenance technician. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Cruz; daughter, Aleta Cruz of New Albany, Indiana; two sons, Benjamin Cruz of Louisville, Kentucky and Joshua Cruz of Sellersburg, Indiana; sister, Emily Beth Cruz of Columbus, Indiana; two grandchildren, Miles Hoffer and Lorelei Cruz. Memorial Service: 12:00 Noon Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Alpha Baptist Church with Rev. Stan Carroll officiating with visiting time to follow the service. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
