Todd M. Carr

Todd M. Carr, 65, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on October 14, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who loved him dearly. Born on September 20, 1961, in Henryville, Indiana, Todd was the son of Dr. Joe Carr and Betty Carr. Todd was a hardworking, talented man who took tremendous pride in everything he did. An exceptional crane operator, he was known for his strong work ethic, remarkable skills, and dedication to a job well done. He was the kind of man who could fix just about anything and was never afraid to get his hands dirty. Outside of work, Todd had a lifelong passion for cars and racing. Whether he was working on a car, turning wrenches, or spending time at the racetrack, it was something he truly loved. That passion became more than just a hobby; it became a family tradition, one that continues through the generations and will forever be a part of his legacy. Above all else, Todd loved his family. His greatest accomplishments weren't measured by the work he did or the things he built, but by the family he loved and the memories they made together. Todd will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his talents, his love of racing, and the lasting impression he made on those fortunate enough to know him. His legacy will live on in the lessons he taught, the traditions he passed down, and the family who will forever carry a piece of him in their hearts. 

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Joe and Betty Carr. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Carr; his sons, Branden Carr (Susan) and Dusten Carr; his stepdaughters, Wendy Campton and Tisha McNeely; his brothers, Joey Carr (Trisha) and Lance Carr; and his eight beloved grandchildren, Preston, Chance, Finley, Erica, Emilee, Hunter, Marly, and Brittney Kristara. He also leaves behind extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Though Todd may no longer be here to share in the moments ahead, his presence will be felt in every engine fired, every lap turned, and every memory made at the racetrack. His love, his lessons, and his legacy will continue to ride along with those he leaves behind.
