Tony Max Bane, 63, passed away on July 22, 2022 with his wife, Carmela, by his side. Born on March 19, 1959 in Salem, Indiana, Tony was a resident of Phoenix, Arizona for the past fifteen years, where he worked for SRP (Salt River Project) as a Journeyman Lineman. Prior to that he spent many years working for IPL (Indianapolis Power and Light), as well as L.E. Meyers and others, all as a lineman, which was his lifelong passion. His father, Raymond E. Bane, was a lineman, and Tony didn't want to do anything else. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Betty J. Cunningham (Bane), as well as the mother of his two sons, Denise A. Bane. He is survived by his wife, Carmela Taibi Reay Lamadore, of Phoenix, Arizona; His two sons, Zachary L. Bane, of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Dylan M. Bane and Wesley J. Holthaus of Topeka, Kansas. He is also survived by his five siblings; Carolyn Browning, of Scottsburg, Indiana; Joyce Todd, of Leesburg, Florida; Mike Bane of Salem, Indiana; Debbie Brown, of Wildwood, Florida; and Cory Bane, of Campbellsburg, Indiana, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 15th, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana from 4-8pm with the service beginning at 7pm. Reverend Rodney Sweeney will be officiating.
