Trenton Alexander Hearin

Trenton Alexander Hearin, 26, of Scottsburg, Indiana, beloved son, devoted father, cherished brother, grandson, and friend passed away on September 4, 2026. He was born on September 2, 2000 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Maria Pedigo and Matthew Hearin. Trenton took great pride in his work, always enjoying the satisfaction that came from working with his hands. He held a deep appreciation for the great outdoors, often spending time hunting or fishing. However, above all, Trenton cherished his role as a father, embracing every moment he had with his beloved daughter. He is preceded in death by grandmother, Anita Pedigo; step grandmother, Jacqueline Pedigo; uncle, Tony Wayne Pedigo; and cousin, Caden Anthony Pedigo. Trenton is survived by his daughter, Ariana Camryn Jade Hearin; Ariana's mother, Caroline Elizabeth Draper; loving mother, Maria Pedigo; maternal grandfather, Roger Pedigo; paternal grandparents, John and Megan Hearin; loving sister, Madison Hearin; four aunts, Rosalie Pedigo, Lindsey (Damon) Smith, Sirena (Rodney) Stamper, and Traci (Frank) Foley; cousins, Brandon and Zachary Logston, Jaxon, Ashtyn Hurd, Alex and Ethan Cash, Devon Pedigo, Cianna Lloyd, Katelynn Pedigo, Tony Pedigo, Harlan and Alla Mae Smith; Alyssa, Nate and Nick Stamper, John and Sara Foley. Trenton’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the memories that will be cherished by his family and friends. Let us honor his life by carrying forward the love and laughter he brought to our lives. The funeral service for Trenton Hearin will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Collins Funeral Home and on Friday prior to the funeral service starting at 11:00am until 1:00pm. Burial will follow the service at Emmanuel Baptist Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana. Memorial donations can be made in Trenton's name to Collins Funeral Home.
