Wahnita C. Rosebrock, 86, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January, 12, 1935 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late William and Ione (Baker) Fugitt. Wahnita was married to her best friend, Raymond G. Rosebrock on September, 1, 1952. She obtained her Master's Degree in education from Indiana University Southeast and taught middle school art at Scottsburg. She went on to become a Registered Nurse and worked on the Rehab unit at Clark Memorial. Wahnita was a faithful Christian who supported her husband in the ministry. Wahnita's artistic talents included hand quilting, multi-media paintings, ceramics, orchid growing and various crafts. Survivors include a son, Raymond (Phyllis) Rosebrock of New Washington, Indiana; a daughter, Alice (Lynn) Stackhouse of Scottsburg, Indiana; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Wahnita was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen (Jim) McFarland; and a sister, Evelyn Borgman. Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Thursday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will be at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
