Wendell D. Brewer, 66, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his residence. He was born on July 1, 1956 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of the late Florence (Keller) Gilstrap and Ance Brewer, who survives. Wendell loved classic cars and antiques. He was a jokester and enjoyed to make people laugh. Wendell was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Gilstrap; and sister, Brenda Gross. Survivors include his father, Ance (Caroline) Brewer of Deputy, Indiana; two brothers, Michael Brewer of Salem, Indiana, and Ance (Linda) Brewer of Columbus, Indiana; two sisters, Teresa (John) Kimmick of Lexington, Indiana and Stephanie (Jason) Jett of Jackson, Kentucky; aunt, Clara Ann McIntosh of Lexington, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home with Matthew Craig officiating. Visitation: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at New Providence Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
