William "Tommy" Vanover

William "Tommy" Vanover, 68, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on September 14, 2026, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on January 9, 1958, in Hazard, Kentucky, he was the beloved son of Bobby and Leora "Cricket" Vanover.

Tommy dedicated many years of service to Morgan Foods before retiring. He was a devoted Christian and cherished his faith. Family time was precious to him, and he greatly enjoyed camping trips with loved ones. A passionate football fan and history buff, Tommy also had a deep appreciation for old-time rock and roll music. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his sister, Claudia Neace; brother, Tony Vanover; brother-in-law, Don; two nieces, Angela Renee Driggs and Tosha Neace. He is survived by his daughter, Lacey Noel Wagner(Josh); son, Gabriel Issac Vanover; three sisters, Eulonda Howell(Doug), Sarah Howell(John), Bobbie L Driggs; brother-in-law, Rick Neace; two grandsons, Maxwell and Mikael Wagner; along with several nieces and nephews and his best friend Joe Stewart of 50 years. There will be a Celebration of Life at Collins Family Center from 1-5pm on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
