Willie Mae Cole, 70, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on June 7, 1951 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Roy Jessee and Alice Mae (Evans) Jessee. She was a former employee of Wooded Glen in Henryville, Indiana, where she was manager of housekeeping for twelve years. She attended the Solid Rock Church in Lexington, Indiana. Wille Mae was an exceptional homemaker, always taking care of her children and husband. She also enjoyed being out in nature. On September 20, 1968 she married Wendell Ray "Sweet Pea" Cole, who passed away November 12, 2017. In addition to her parents and husband, Willie Mae is preceded in death by her sister, Billie Ruth; and niece, Sissy. Survivors include her three daughters, Anita (Stephanie) Cole of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Windy (Richard) Jennings of Lexington, Indiana, and Crystal (Tim) Nott of Scott County, Indiana; five grandchildren, Landon and Arabella Jennings, Trevor and Alex Combs, and Makala Martin; and three great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Monday, December 20, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Shuler officiating. Visitation: 10 am to 1 pm Monday at Collins Funeral Home.
