Yong Ok Paden, 65, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 10, 1957 in Sancheong, South Korea, the daughter of Choi Seong Kwon and Kim II Jeom. On November 23, 1978 she married Gregory Paden, who survives. She was a member of the Scottsburg United Methodist Church and the Scottsburg Moose Lodge #2324, with her husband. Yong was an exceptional homemaker who was dedicated to taking care of her family. She never missed a school or sporting event for the kids, and was always their greatest supporter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and her beloved chihuahua of nearly eighteen years, Bruiser. Survivors include her husband, Gregory Paden; two daughters, Jennifer (Anthony) Clark stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Emily (Chad) Logsdon of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; son, Daniel (Beth) Paden of Sellersburg, Indiana; two brothers; two sisters; and eleven grandchildren, William, Adam, and Travis Clark, Kimberly Fraley, Carter, Colton, and Kasen Logsdon, Kaden and Brody Oliver, Maxton and Beckham Paden. Funeral Service: 3:00 pm Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Eric Lowry officiating. Visitation 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm Sunday at Collins Funeral Home.
